1st Annual JBC Excavation Extravaganza

Saturday, August 3rd, from 9 AM to 3 PM. This FREE community event will showcase local contractors JBC Excavation, Drewery Construction, and White Electric, along with heavy equipment distributors Mustang Cat, Big Tex Agriplex, and Wakishaw Pierce Industries.

Introducing children to the trades is important for promoting interest in essential and rewarding careers. It helps them develop practical skills and an understanding of the value of hands-on work, which are often overlooked in traditional education. By exposing kids to the trades, we can ensure a future workforce that is skilled, diverse, and capable! Events like this can ignite a passion for learning and innovation in fields that are responsible for our infrastructure and economy.

Kids will have the chance to get hands-on experience operating their favorite pieces of machinery, enjoy dozer rides, and play in our HUGE rock pit and sandbox. We will feature live machinery demonstrations throughout the day. Our water trucks will keep everyone cool in the SPLASH-ZONE! There will be local food vendors, music, giveaways, and merchandise.
